3rd Annual ARTA Auditions

Our third annual unified auditions went off very smoothly with 80 actors auditioning for the 10 production companies listed below. Our great volunteer staff kept things moving along very efficiently, with the 9:00pm scheduled audition starting at 9:02!

This year's event included an hour-long meeting of the producers to discuss the future of ARTA. It was an exciting time with many ideas shared among the participants to expand the mission of our 3 year old organization. The member producers are committed to further discussions throughout the year.

The organization has set February 18, 2014 for next year's auditions.

ADIRONDACK REGIONAL THEATRES ASSOCIATION

3RD ANNUAL UNIFIED AUDITIONS

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19
1PM-9PM

THE CHARLES R. WOOD THEATER

Organized and managed by the collaborative efforts of The Charles R. Wood Theater, The Adirondack Theatre Festival, The Lake George Dinner Theatre and WrightStage Productions, this event offers regional actors an opportunity to audition for 9 area production companies.

Auditions are open to both Equity and non-Equity actors.

Actors must sign up for a 5-minute slot during which they may present: 2 contrasting monologues OR 1 monologue and 32 measures of a song (sheet music must be provided for our accompanist).

If actors provide a resume and head shot via email to adirondackregionaltheatres@gmail.com by Friday, February 15, we will have copies made and provide one to each production company. After that date, candidates must bring sufficient copies for the attending producers.

Technical support personnel are encouraged to send in or drop off resumes as well.

There are no fees or charges for this audition.
